The Chevrolet C3500 LS for 1999
The C3500 LS is equipped with a General Motors 5.7 liter eight-cylinder engine that utilizes 16 valves. The Vortec engine is mated to a General Motors 4-speed Transmission. This is a long-standing favorite for buyers in the Standard Cab Pickup arena.
The C3500 uses power-assisted brakes, with 2-Wheel ABS support. The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are drum. Steering is handled through a power-steering gear-style configuration. The truck uses coil and leaf springs front and rear respectively.

The fuel system for the 1999 C3500 is a traditional Central SFI, running on CNG fuel. The fuel is controlled by an electronic system and is a fuel-injected MFI design. The capacity of the fuel tank is 25.00 gallons.
