The Toyota Camry Hybrid for 2008

Toyota Camry

There have been several award-winning cars from Toyota over the years, including the Toyota Camry of 2008. There are five trim levels to the Camry, including Hybrid, XLE, SE, and Base. The Hybrid version is one of the more popular options, outselling other configurations. Like in 2007 the popular 2.4 liter has made this a popular choice for sedan buyers nationwide.

2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid Specs

The restyled Camry Hybrid is equipped with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that utilizes 16 valves. The engine is mated to a N/A four-speed transaxle. This has resulted in an increase in horsepower and torque over the 2007 version.

The fuel system for the 2008 Camry is a SFI system, running on ELECTRIC/GAS . The fuel is regulated by an electronic system and is a fuel-injected MFI design.

The Camry uses power-assisted brakes, with 4-Wheel ABS support. The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are disc. Steering is handled through a power-steering rack-style configuration. The car uses coil and coil springs front and rear respectively.
