Ford F-150

Several things can be said about the Ford F-150 series: including the polarizing reactions most buyers have towards their truck. The eight-cylinder engine is at the heart of the strong emotions, it is powerful for its class and delivers a large amount of torque.

The restyled F-150 King Ranch is equipped with a 5.4-liter eight-cylinder engine that utilizes 16 valves. The Triton engine is mated to a Ford four-speed transmission. This has resulted in an increase in horsepower and torque over the 2000 version.

The fuel system for the 2001 F-150 is a SFI system, running on BI-FUEL . The fuel is controlled by an electronic system and is a fuel-injected MFI design.
