In 2001 Ford released the F-150 Lariat to the truck-buying market. The F-150 came in six configurations: XLT, Harley-Davidson Edition, Lightning, Lariat, and King Ranch. The Lariat configuration is powered by the 5.4-liter eight-cylinder engine, which makes 19 - 21 highway miles and 15 - 16 city. The F-150 competes in the Standard Cab Pickup market segment, in direct competition with Honda.

Good article. At first I felt like I needed to refute your review of the Ford F-150, but after further reflection I can see your point of view. Perhaps my personal F-150 Lariat is an abberation. What is everyone else’s experiences?
