Insight Into the Lexus RX400h for 2008

A high point in the sport utility market is the Lexus RX400h. In 2008 Lexus released an upgraded version of the RX400h with one versions: Base. Sales for the RX400h, especially the RX400h Base, were brisk during 2008 and 2009. The improved reliability and the sporty styling were responsible for the sales boost.
Lexus RX400h Engine Specs
The restyled RX400h Base is equipped with a 3.3-liter six-cylinder engine that utilizes 24 valves. The engine is mated to a N/A four-speed transaxle. This has resulted in an increase in horsepower and torque over the 2007 version.

The original manufacturer suggested retail price (MSRP) was $41,180 when new, with a dealer invoice cost of $36,648. This price was in line with the industry average price for a 4-door Sport Utility.
The standard warranty period for the RX400h is 48 months, or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. There is also a warranty on the powertrain for 72 months or 70,000 miles respectively. This is standard in the sport utility market.
