The F-150 XL received a miles-per-gallon rating of fourteen in-city driving and eighteen when it came to highway driving. Being a flex-powered green truck, this was within normal parameters.

There are several reasons why the Ford F-150 XL sold well in 2007. Mainly the increase in availability and a marked improvement in quality meant the buying public was more apt to choose a Ford, specifically a F-150.
