The 2007 F-150 is an important vehicle to Ford for the crew cab pickup market segment. Performance

The restyled F-150 King Ranch is equipped with a Ford 5.4-liter 8-cylinder engine that utilizes a total of 24 valves. The Triton engine is paired with a Ford 4-speed transmission. This configuration has proven to be a successful design for Ford.

The F-150 uses power-assisted brakes, with 4-Wheel ABS support. The front brakes are disc while the rear brakes are disc. Steering is handled through a power-steering rack-style configuration. The truck uses coil and leaf springs front and rear respectively.

The fuel system for the 2007 F-150 is a traditional SFI, running on FLEX fuel. The fuel is controlled by an electronic system and is a fuel-injected MFI design. The capacity of the fuel tank is 30.00 gallons.

Fuel Efficiency

The F-150 King Ranch received a miles-per-gallon rating of fourteen in-city driving and eighteen when it came to long-distance. Being a flex-powered hybrid truck, this was subpar.

Conclusion

The 2006 model began the promise of the Ford F-150. The 2007 expanded on this success and has proven to be a strong seller in most markets. Even with strong competition from other manufacturers Ford hopes that the F-150 King Ranch will continue to be a profitable vehicle.
