A high point in the crew cab pickup market is the Ford F-150. In 2002 Ford released an upgraded version of the F-150 with six versions: XLT, Harley-Davidson Edition, Lightning, King Ranch, and Lariat. Sales for the F-150, especially the F-150 King Ranch, were brisk during 2002 and 2003. The improved reliability and the sporty styling were responsible for the sales boost.
